Bioinvasion
Mar 20, 2020
In this project we develop models and data analysis tools to study bioinvasion and to characterize global transportation networks
Topics have been:
- Characterization of the global cargo shipping network
- The risk of marine bioinvasion in the network of global shipping
- The Intermediate Distance Hypothesis of Biological Invasions (or the quarter globe rule)
- Temporal changes of invasion patterns over historical epochs
